Certified Agile Leader (CAL-1)
In our two-day Certified Agile Leader (CAL-1) course, students will complete the Scrum Alliance accredited agile leadership curriculum. This course explores the definition, utility, and application of Agile leadership, as well as the mindset, knowledge, and awareness needed to serve Agile teams as a direct leader. Students will learn the 12 conditions that underlie the formation of high performing Agile teams and essential coaching skills for nurturing them. Students also explore the impact of organizational structure on business Agility, learn to conceptualize value flow, and apply an empirical approach to organizational change management. Our course is a highly interactive experience. Participants will apply Agile leadership fundamentals, scaling, and teaming principles to the dynamics of their own organization.
Certification
Upon successful completion of this course, students will acquire the CAL-1 credential. This certification is governed and maintained by the Scrum Alliance.

Is there a discount available for current students?
UMBC students and alumni, as well as students who have previously taken a public training course with UMBC Training Centers are eligible for a 10% discount, capped at $250. Please provide a copy of your UMBC student ID or an unofficial transcript or the name of the UMBC Training Centers course you have completed. Asynchronous courses are excluded from this offer.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Student will receive a refund of paid registration fees only if UMBC Training Centers receives a notice of cancellation at least 10 business days prior to the class start date for classes or the exam date for exams.
