SQL Fundamentals

In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of the structured query language (SQL) and how to use SQL to store, extract and present information.  Lecture, numerous hands-on lab exercises using Microsoft Access and Oracle 11g, along with an excellent textbook (which students keep) are used to provide students with a solid understanding of SQL.

While the course is taught using Access and Oracle, the focus of the course is on database-independent SQL statements and concepts.
